SECOND lohei on 23rd jan (3-4hrs after the first) at reunion dinner with my extended relatives at a coffee shop THIRD lohei was on 24th jan (ok. it was a brave step we took. i went to chek's GIGANTIC extended family reunion dinner) FOURTH lohei was not on reunion dinner with my nuclear family of origin (steamboat instead)...not on the first day of CNY... but on the 3rd day of CNY when we had fruitty loheiz FIFTH lohei will be oin fri when my BAG group is doing it...

learning. we often make mistake when we undergo this process of learning and we need to learn from mistakes. Sometimes mistakes arise because of one's carelessness, for this case, when one is careless in the words we choose to speak, in the actions we choose to take.
Mistakes arise when it is a habit. human habits are hard to kick and we need to motivate and encourage each other to believe that change and improvement are possible.
do u rmb when we were younger... some of our 'h' looks like 'n', just because it was our style. We need to change this style... if not, statements like ' the boy is hot ' becomes 'the boy is not'...
do u rmb sometimes our mathematical statements are wrong because we were careless
eg 45+27 = 62 or when we copy what was in our column at the right hand side of the exercise book to the middle, we miss out a '0'...

one day, edwin jio-ed 3 students and a NSF (altogether 5 men) to go buy BAK GUA! LIM CHIN GUAN BAK GUA! LCGBG!!!!! they arranged to meet at 9am at chinatown, 7 days b4 CNY to buy dunno-why-so-popular,is-it-really-so-tasty- LCGBG! so well...we decided to call it a cell group guys outing. we actually thought we would finish our dealings and bring our hunt/bacon back home within 4 hours...we didn't. sometimes i think most singaporeans are spared from economy slowdown. serious! for breakfast, we split into two groups and ate macs for breakfast. as the mins ticked away, we realised, psychologically, we weren't prepared for the toll that was upon us. 10metres only after 1plus hours. we gave ourselves TWO large cokes to boost ourselves. still, after a while, when edwin was thinking of giving up, the FOUR of us told him that since we have queued for 3-4 hrs le...JUST CARRY on. in the end, we reached LCG after SIX.5 hours...3.30pm!!! and bought about 40kg of bak gua that cost about NINE00$...madness.

this is 2009's first entry. My feeling is mixed, esp the last few days. perhaps it's the new year blues... but why... is it becos this is my last semester in school and work is just straight after? is it becos i am not ready to juggle pdtion and school work; church stuff and friends...
2008 was a year which grace was abounding in my life. Apart from an improvement in my CAP from 3.62 to 3.68 (stablising my second honors), He has shown grace in terms of relationship. My God has protected me time and time again when I drove... Thank Him for His mercy. There were close shaves because of speeding cars, taxi, heavy rains, turning into wrong lane and drove a good 20m opposing the intended direction of traffic without having to meet with any car on the lane.
It was a year that well, i took a step back from YA and decided to serve in the Chinese ministry. Thank God for the chance for me to share mny testimony to CK, SWHCL09 and Chek's frens.
I need to spend more time with Jesus. listen more - to pp, esp chek and not take her for granted judge less- towards pp who are different. dare to fail/ do badly - with each training/practice, my skills/technique will improve.
u know, as i am typing now...i think i am typing for the sake of it... i dunno. This couldn't be mental exhaustion as a result of an enjoyable holiday.
What the Lord has installed for me i do not know but I know I have a dependable God.
Maybe my heart is heavy laden because i know that after i begin work i would have lesser free time. Surely, my life would be colourised with hues of different shades as i interact with pp at my workplace.
