mentally tiring

THIS IS NOT A PSLE QUESTION LAaaa..
apparently hardworking alone is nv enough.
add a bit of grace.
that makes a lof of difference.

"Jim bought some chocolates and gave half of it to Ken. Ken bought some sweets and gave half of it to Jim. Jim ate 12 sweets and Ken ate 18 chocolates. The ratio of Jim’s sweets to chocolates became 1:7 and the ratio of Ken’s sweets to chocolates became 1:4. How many sweets did Ken buy?"

anyone wanna crack their brain for the above question?

it was a psle maths question!! really damn difficult! i used simultaneous equations to solve, BUT i think i only learnt that in secondary school for a math..hahaha.

ya, simultaneous is for short cut way. long cut way is trial and error, table method... super jialat!
