in the end...is to forgive
hi guysi'm here to share with u guys some parts of my life...
1. i might write into SBS/SMRT/Straits Times becos of my recent encounters with passengers on the bus and reaction of certain bus drivers. In recent times, my gf and i had to call out to inconsiderate ppl to move in...(as mentioned in the previous post). and also in a separate incident, the bus driver actually said that he'll clear up the mess created by a man who threw tissue papers after clearing his nose. YUCKS! Bus no 28. Imagine the air in it?!
2. Seems that my special sem might really happen. 3 weeks in msia followed by 3 weeks in NUS. to clear a module. Well, no HK, there's msia. How relevant hor. With that, i'll miss out so many things: camps, work, free time, birthdays, gathering
3. I've been thinking about when to list down all the wonderful events that i have been blessed with from Uni yr1 till now... like how God has bless me with experiences and relationships. Perhaps i should do this by the time i grad. Like how my 4 yrs as a uni student was like next yr.
4. Went cycling with dear old buddy victor at the east park connector: from my place to bedok to ECP to changi then loyang to pasir ris and tampines... 45km for me who haven't exercised for a long time, who would probably clear 2.4km in 13mins and a heart that can't take no more... BUT we did it. It was his first time and like he said, it's one of the best things that can happen. Thank God for providing an excellent weather!
5. I took cabs twice recently. Spoke to driver about christianity. Both find that christian converts lack in filial piety. Disappointment got into them ba. Cos u see, in the first place, the bible does state to honour our parents. thus whether can or not a person provides financially (financial transfer) to their parents (as a form of old-age support) has got nothing to do with christianity but the person's character.
6. Lastly, i wanna remind my readers. let not the past pull u back and wind u down. Nothing can change that. It's not how u start but how u finish. I fix my eyes at the finishing line where Jesus is. That's how i will run my race. It will nv be easy to embrace all ppl. we need not. we just need to love them. For me, i strive to do that cos God shown forgiveness and love to me first... there are ppl we want to strangle them and kick their ass, burnt their skin and rip their tongue... we'll turn our heads and shake our legs and said they are beyond hope... but becos i know that Christ's death has settled the debt for Man, there is always hope... and yes...let's remind each other, brothers and sisters- in Christ and also non-christian friends that let's learn how to forgive others... and urselves.
